BETWEEN YOUR BREASTS
Peter Gracey
Who is this one to ask for your heart?
Who is this one to meditate and be still?
Who deserves a heart that's torn apart?
Step forth my sense of self, if worthy, it’s thy will.
Ripping elasticity,
Ripping away at your skin.
What's beyond the love that’s observed?
What does it mean to enjoy the pain of sin?
Are you the one on the surface?
Who can find comfort between your breasts?
Is my love charred in the furnace?
Or was my eyes deceived by your flesh?
The honor is mine, there are no reservations,
To love you is to suffer, with hopeful intentions.
The description of death means nothing to me,
Let me die in your bosom so when it’s all gone, you'll remember me.
T'WAS MORE THAN LOVE
Peter Gracey
A cool wind swept beneath my feet,
Feeling such a splendor.
Somatic complaints yet love eclipsed,
Caused my family and friends to wonder.
You formed my thoughts, a gentle mind,
A gigantic heart now so pleased.
You gave me love, I showed you more,
Then my soul had found its ease.
How thin a line between life and death,
Be not worried at all for me.
Still sensing your love and feel your touch,
It’s for better, I departed thee.
Cognitive functions in the midst of friends,
Pondering where I am.,
I’m between your slightest hope and whispers,
Just imagine, reach out and feel my hands.
Like butterflies wings how soft they flap,
Like an angel on a cloud of cotton.
Gracefully I ask to love me more,
Like the kindness of my deity in heaven.
It's never a good time to say goodbye,
To those who love you more.
Hoping to see you one last time,
But kindly I escaped before.
A life enjoyed more than a summer's breeze,
It's time to take a rest.
T'was more than love with family first,
Unimaginable for one to express.
Loved the life you’ve made me live,
And lived through the funny little things you say.
My mind at rest in a better place,
Like the melodies of birds in May.
Please don't ever stop loving me,
Sensations never cease.
Please don't cry, just smile for me,
A cool wind swept beneath my feet.
PERCEPTION IS LONELY
Peter Gracey
Softly you killed me with a heart made of stone,
Rough on all sides and wounding to the bones.
My perception is lonely without statements from her heart,
Nothing for me to say once more, nothing for me to accomplish;
Everything is about your love, but your love has fallen apart.
Scars you left behind for memories sake,
And tears of sadness never seem to dissolve.
Only recollection of you is left behind,
And the only thing to show are these wounds;
Lonely are the nights with myself without you, isolation is now involved.
Somewhere between loneliness and farewell,
Finding myself staring at the clouds.
Influencing my thoughts to make the shape of you,
But the wind is menacing to my art;
Now my strategy has changed to something new.
To validate my failure to clinch your soul,
Is a lifetime of misused thoughts.
To announce my vulnerable heart for you,
Will declare my weakness and my flaws;
Declining my courage to see me through.
Deeper and deeper yearning for warmth, but colder and colder it gets,
When the moon shows its face to ones who care.
And not to the oblivious thinkers like me.
Seeking the unknown, the opposite side,
But nothing‘s there to see.
Strange are the alliances of the stars,
In agreement they remain as one.
Never a change of their hearts,
Never a change of their affection,
Everything was about your love, but your love has fallen apart.
THINK ABOUT ME
By Peter Gracey
Even though we’re far away,
Only if you could hear me say.
My thoughts of you are night and day,
Your presence is with me and it’s here to stay.
Don’t be discouraged as you’ve shown you can,
If you need a guide, take my hand.
If you should fall, quickly rise, just take it slow,
The simplest things will make you grow.
Being around just to touch your face,
Capturing your smile in my thoughts if that’s the case.
You should always think about me, songs and scents,
Every second was worth the time, of every minute we’ve spent.
As I love myself, and loving you as much,
Wings of a butterfly, tender, a tender touch.
Sensing the whispers of the air you breathe,
Close your eyes and surrender, but do not concede.
Love me as you say you would,
And love me as much.
Feel the sensations of an everlasting touch.
BUTTERFLY KISSES
Peter Gracey
Nobody knows how beautiful you are but you,
And no one can see the beauty I see in you.
No one knows the love I have for you.
But if you look deep inside of me,
You will see how much I love you.
You are the apples of my eyes,
And you complete my dreams.
I will care for you, love you, and be there for you by any means.
We will teach each other how to love each other,
Like body and soul,
We will come together.
With butterfly kisses we will embrace life,
Forever I’ll be yours,
And you’ll be my wife.
ALL I CAN GIVE
Peter Gracey
Will you be my soul mate?
Will you be my lover?
What will it take for us to be together?
Please say yes, don’t reject my offer,
Cause baby you know diamonds were meant forever.
Soft clouds, black girl, white doves, white dress,
Have you ever seen a lion cuddle with a tigress?
Separate our differences and be at God’s best,
Have you ever seen an eagle in a dove’s nest?
I am feeling stressed out and kind of anxious,
Life is about living, but this time it’s about us.
Don’t turn me away, don’t turn me down,
Because crying is not my game,
Too many facial muscles to frown.
I’m no Romeo, but you are my Juliet,
I’m no millionaire, but God’s riches is what you get.
God is love, that’s my riches, that’s all I can give,
Accept my heart, accept my love,
A simple life to live.
